PayTime, Inc. was formed in the Fall of 1993, and after the purchase of it’s software, space, creation of marketing materials, began operations in the first quarter of 1994.
At the end of the first quarter of 1994, it had seven customers. Later that year, two of those customers went out of business, but, the original five are still customers of PayTime today.
Today, PayTime has nearly 600 customers, primarily in the Richmond area. Since many of it’s client’s operate in multiple states, it pays and files taxes in thirty- four states. It’s largest client has 400 employees; it’s smallest has one, and the average client has 14 employees.
